How much does it cost to replace struts on 1997 Nissan Maxima? Parts are fairly inexpensive.?

you want to select a good struts - there are cheap ones, but you do get what you pay for. If you select good structs, and replace the mount, it would easily last another 100K miles. If not, you may end up replacing shruts every 10 - 30K miles.

Can i use the performance parts from the nissan 350z on my 2009 nissan maxima?

There are NO performance parts on the market for the 2009 Nissan Maxima. So, since they both share the exact same engine. Can i use the more common 350Z upgrade parts on the Maxima?

If the cars really have the same engine, I'd imagine that the Maxima has a detuned version. I'm not positive but I'd be willing to bet that the Z has hotter cams, high compression, and better flowing induction system.

2013 Infiniti JX Review By Steve Purdy

2013 INFINITI JX
Contents a gap in the Infiniti lineup

I’m wondering if we positively need another 3-row, 7-passenger CUV when there are many great products in that category already like the Audi Q7, Lincoln MK-T, Acura MDX, all the GM entries and a few I missed. Well, Infiniti thinks so and brought a cluster of journalists to lovely Charleston, South Carolina to explain why, and to let us experience their new one – the 2013 Infiniti JX.

Answering my own theme, I’ll say it’s not a matter of whether we need one. Rather, does this new one add to the mix something that gives us another good choice in the market? See what you think.

Infiniti already has two 5-rider CUVs in their mix - EX and FX – both derivatives of their more modest Nissan siblings. Their existing 3-row, 8-passenger QX is bigger and more trucky than many customers longing. So, the new JX slots nicely in the gap - a three-row, 7-passenger, unibody CUV on an all-new platform. A very important product for Infiniti, they expect the JX will be relocate in sales only to the ‘G’ series of sedans.
