Why is my 1997 Suzuki Sidekick sport with 5 sp man. so hard to shift into 1st and reverse?
It's very hard to get in the first. especially at a stop, second and third. 4th and 5th or stiff and seem OK. There is no grinding, just really hard. There is ground to rev, no matter how easy I try to be.
Sounds like the clutch, turn the car off and see if you can easily in all gears, as you can is the link. Figure about $ 550 for a quality clutch kit and flywheel installed appearance.
