Big turbo,” Steve tells NZPC. A lifetime fan of Toyotas, he was well au courant of the big power figures people were pushing from the straight six 1 and 2JZ motors and decided another MK IV Supra would be ideal, but after talking to his kin he was convinced to go down the Toyota Soarer path. Not many people here in New Zealand really bother with them, but after looking at what guys in both Japan and America where doing, that was all Steve needed to see.The occupation came together over the next five years, initially starting with two cars, one a very tidy and, most importantly, registered auto shell, and the other a crashed mill manual which Steve imported directly from Japan. As with a lot of cars brought in from the land of the rising sun, there were a lot of parts not listed in the auction, or perchance Google translate skipped a few words. Either way, when the car arrived Steve was happy to find a lot of bonus pieces like the Tein adjustables and Lexus SC300 flag lights.
